Encounter with Mr. Rakesh Roshan – HARD WORK, TALENT & LUCK
I had the good fortune of meeting one of the stalwarts of Bollywood, Mr. Rakesh Roshan yesterday.
I am very impressed with Mr. Roshan’s attitude towards life; he not only displayed humility & gratitude but also showed great acumen for business & finance.
I asked him a specific question on how much role do the 3 pillars – hard work, talent & luck play in achieving success in life & his prompt reply was –
Talent – 10 %
Hard work – 10 %
Luck – 80 %
Maybe my answers would tally with Mr. Roshan, a few years down the line but today, my own estimate at this stage of my life is –
Talent, Skills, Knowledge – 20 %
Hard work – 30 %
Luck / Divine blessings – 50 %
